I’ve spoken before about how important eyebrows are to a face. Even if you prefer a more natural look and not the super defined brows I’ve shown you how to achieve in previous posts, one really quick way to add some definition and brighten the whole area is with a highlighter pencil.
High Brow by our pals at Benefit is a brow lifting pencil to be applied just under the arch and blended creating a bright but still natural look. It comes in the original linen pink (a super light pink, almost white) and the newer High Brow Glow – a more shimmery champagne pink. Both shades go with any skin tone, but the Glow does give you a more dramatic, evening look.
I use the original High Brow, and whilst my makeup regimen may seem pretty alarming to some of you, even you novice, slightly disinterested, or even hungover gals will find this easy to use. It’s soft and smooth, not at all waxy and blends really well. If you do nothing else but use this and a slick of mascara, you’ll have a sexy looking eye. And just a tip, I tend to apply this before I draw my actual eyebrows on, because you do need to give a good smudge with your fingers which can in turn smudge your brows leaving you with an alluring melty Twighlight Zoney look.
It retails at $39 here in Oz, but again, look around online (I pay $20). One stick will last you ages, but you will need a sharpener with a large hole as it is a somewhat chubby stick. Insert joke here.
